Safe first check: clean the condenser coils and make sure nothing blocks the vents inside. If it is warm everywhere and you never hear the compressor start, that is a different problem. Many LG refrigerators use an inverter linear compressor, and the cause can be the compressor itself or its inverter board. That needs proper testing before anyone says the compressor is dead.
